Rescue reports
A submitted report is a request for assessment, not a guarantee of intake or dispatch. Capacity, location, urgency, responder safety, and available resources affect every response. For immediate threats to people or animals, contact the appropriate local authority or emergency veterinary service.
Adoption
Submitting an application does not reserve a dog or guarantee approval. W.H.E.L.P.S. may require screening, interviews, a home visit, meet-and-greet, identification, supporting documents, and an adoption fee before placement.
Donations
Use only payment details confirmed through W.H.E.L.P.S.’ official channels. Unless a specific restricted campaign is agreed in writing, donations may be applied to the organization’s most urgent rescue and shelter needs.
Content
Dog availability and medical information can change. This site does not replace veterinary, legal, emergency, or animal-control advice. W.H.E.L.P.S. may update these terms as its operations and online services develop.
