W.H.E.L.P.S. began with roots in Valenzuela City and now operates the Whelps Animal Care & Rehabilitation Center in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija.
The nonprofit rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes abandoned, abused, neglected, and homeless dogs and cats. Its work includes medical care, feeding, enrichment, shelter upkeep, education, adoption inquiries, rescue requests, and community-supported facility development.
